Patient Access
Patient Access is an online service. It's offered by EMIS allowing patients to perform certain tasks online. This can be done once registered to the service. Patients can book appointments, request repeat prescriptions and alter contact details. This can all be done without having to ring or call into the practice. Patients can also view their GP record (with approval from the GP).
Registering for Patient Access
First of all, you must register to use the internet appointment booking facility. To register you can ask a receptionist. They will be able to provide a registration form. This form will allow you to register to the Internet facility.

Repeat Prescriptions
You can request a repeat prescription from the practice online. You can do this by logging onto Patient Access and ticking which drugs you need. The doctor then either accepts or declines the request and it notifies the patient. (more info)
